Big Saturday 2017

Vendor Application and Waiver

Read the Rules, Regulations and Waiver, complete the form below and submit.   

Upon approval, an invoice will be emailed to you. 

The last day reservations and payments will be accepted is August 15, 2017.

If you would like to choose your space, please note the LOT color and number(s) in the comments section of the form.   

We will try to accommodate requests but, cannot guarantee them.  

Maps are updated daily as spaces fill--reservations are not confirmed until payment is received and has cleared.

*All trailers/vehicles must be pre-approved AND MUST fit in the space you are renting or you will be asked to park elsewhere.  Please include a note in the "Booth Set-Up & Materials or Comment section of the application below, if you need your trailer/vehicle to be included on your invoice.  Thank you!

Big Saturday is an outdoor event and is rain or shine--no refunds or cancellations for any reason .

Vendor Licensing Info and Requirements:

Food Vendors: All Food Vendors MUST be pre-approved. You may be required by Delaware Health & Social Services to obtain a temporary food establishment permit--it is your responsibility to secure such permit, if required. You must have appropriate insurance for the event--a Certificate of Insurance must be provided. Please have a first aid kit and fire extinguisher.

General Vendor Info:

  1. Spaces are reserved once payment is received and has cleared. Persons who bounce checks will be shamed on our FB page.
  2. Set-up begins at 6 am, no one may check in before 5 am. Set-up must be completed and vehicles removed from your space by 8 am. No take downs before 1 pm.
  3. *Vendors may not park a trailer or vehicle in their space unless pre-approved.
  4. Vendors must not block sidewalks, must keep areas clean and remove all trash at the end of the event.
  5. Vendors must enter from Route 13 onto Governors Avenue—check in is done at Governors Avenue and Addix. Vendors may not enter the event from any other area!
  6. You will receive a vendor package prior to the event. Included in this package are vendor passes and event information. You must have a vendor pass to gain entrance to the event.
  7. NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON. Event is rain or shine.
  8. If necessary, the Big Sat Committee reserves the right to reassign/change a space, even on the day of the event. We reserve the right to deny a space without a refund to any vendor in violation of any rule.
  9. Although we try to provide exclusives to our New Item Resellers, we cannot guarantee it.
  10. The Committee has final say as to where to place a vendor.
  11. Absolutely no sales of animals—any violation of this rule constitutes ejection from the event.
  12. No food can be sold if not approved prior to the event.
  13. Electricity is not available.
  14. Generators must be pre-approved!
  15. We do not supply tables, chairs, canopies, etc. This is a space rental only.


Payment:

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. Our last day to accept application/payments is August 15, 2017.  If paying by check/money order, please include your invoice number.  Your space is not reserved until payment is received and has cleared.

Drop off payments/cash at the Greenwood Public Library at 100 Mill Street, Greenwood, DE 19950.  Please enclose your payment in an envelope and mark:  FRIENDS Big Saturday, ATTENTION:  Annette    (Don't forget your invoice number!)


WAIVER:

Upon application and payment to The FRIENDS of the Greenwood Library for the Big Saturday event, I assume all risks associated with participating in Big Saturday. This includes, but is not limited to any damage to or theft of merchandise, injury to myself or anyone acting on my behalf. I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release The FRIENDS of the Greenwood Library, The Town of Greenwood, The Greenwood Public Library, and all partners and sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the event, even though the liability may arise out of carelessness by myself or another. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photography, videography or other record of this event. I agree that I have read this waiver and all rules and regulations and, understand the conditions of the application.

Upon approval you will receive an invoice which you may pay using PayPal or with a check or money order mailed to: FRIENDS Big Saturday, Attention: Annette, P.O. Box 839, 100 Mill Street, Greenwood, DE 19950.
If paying by check or money order, please send an email to [email protected] saying that you will be mailing a check/money order, so that your account will be marked accordingly.
Big Saturday is an outdoor event and is rain or shine--no refunds. If the event is canceled due to inclement weather, we do NOT have a rain date and we cannot issue refunds. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Annette at: [email protected]
